Jake Rogus

Jake Rogus is a 3rd year BM in Composition from Northbrook, Illinois and has been writing music since 2018. He has won multiple awards at ILMEA State in high school for some of his works. He has studied with composers Niel Carson, Mischa Zupko, Don Freund, David Dzubay, and P.Q. Phan. His musical style is influenced by numerous 20th century composers, such as Stravinsky, Shostakovich, and Persichetti. In his free time, Jake also likes to bake, swim, and play video games.
