Timothy Reinholz

Timothy Reinholz (b. 1996) is a composer and DMA candidate at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. His work bridges classical tradition with electronic music techniques to address modern issues, specifically climate change and scientific data. A 2024 finalist for The American Prize in both chamber and orchestral categories, his notable works include Wave Decay – Papakolea and Aspects of the Thaw. Reinholz’s music has been performed by Milwaukee’s Tontine Ensemble and commissioned by Norway’s Romus Kulturskole. He holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Indiana University.
