Varis Sirisook (b. 2002) is a Thai composer, violinist, and conductor, who is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Composition at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music under Professor P. Q. Phan. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2023 at Durham University with First Class (Honours), followed by a Master of Studies in Music (Composition) at the University of Oxford in 2024. His works have been performed by the Tredegar Town Band, as part of the Oxford International Song Festival, Ensemble ISIS, Oxford Millennium Orchestra, and Indiana University Brass Band. Additionally, ‘Treacherous Turbulence’ received a special mention in the Calefax Reed Quintet Composers Competition 2024.
